A Very Merry Christmas!

We had a memorable Christmas. On Christmas Eve, we went to my parent's house for dinner and the traditional Christmas movie. (We always watch a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve.) My dad surprised his girls with gifts- necklaces! They're beautiful!

After opening our gifts on Christmas, we went up to my parent's again for more gifts and lunch. We are so spoiled!

I surprised John with camo!

John surprised me with a gift certificate to Seven Salon.

Later that night, we decided to make our way to Tropic to see John's parents. John was also invited to play in a basketball tournament in Panguitch , so we thought it would be good to get down there. The roads were fine until Scipio. Our friends, who were traveling to Las Vegas, called to warn us that they were stuck in a whiteout near Parowan. It hit us just minutes later. I was terrified. We could not see a thing. Luckily, John is amazing and got us safely to Fillmore. We had Christmas dinner in our hotel room :) A Christmas we will not forget!

P.S. John did well in his tournament. Because of the weather, only half of the teams showed up, so they decided to play all the games in one day. After three games, John decided he was done, and we headed to Tropic. It was fun to see him play. We have yet to find out how his team did, but they were off to a great start!
